Backroads Steakhouse ~ Salem

Tonight we enjoyed a great meal in Salem, South Dakota.

Backroads Steakhouse is located right off Hwy 38 just East of Hwy 81 on the edge of Salem. The staff was friendly and the food was good. There is a lounge side and a dinning room side. The only difference as far as I could tell was there was music and a bar on the lounge side, they had a small video lottery and ATM on this side as well.On the Dinning room side there was the salad bar and it was a little more quite. 

The Menu had several options from burgers and appetizers to steaks and dinners.  Pork, beef, and some chicken items were available.

I enjoyed a Ribeye Steak, with a baked potato.  I left quite full and they cooked it to a proper medium, which I appreciated as I have been to a few places that were not able to do so.

Backroads was recently renovated by new owners and it was done nicely.  The fixtures and atmosphere was very clean and comfortable.  I do plan to go back soon and try the burgers!
