It was a great weekend for a run.
Even better when you can run for a great charity like the development of your own community.
The 8th annual Canistota fun run/walk 5K, organized by Flex Appeal 24 hour fitness was this last weekend.
There were participants of all ages, some of more than one generation in the same family.
A great community getting together for the betterment of their own home town!

I have only been training for a week this
time, but when the pavement calls,
I gotta run.
The opportunity to help support my community and the Canistota Development Corporation is at hand.
I will not only be running this 5K, I am also sponsoring it so my logo will be on the shirts!
My wife will be joining and supporting me by walking it.

Saturday August 13, 2016 with registration
at 9 am and the run starting at 10 am.
The rides are showing up!
The parade route is being planned.
The barrel racer and bull riding grounds are being leveled.

Canistota Sports Days is almost here.
Starting Thursday July 14th all the way until Saturday the 16th. There will be carnival rides, a parade, bingo and barrel racing and bull riding.
This is always a great event in the small town of Canistota with Big Time Fun!
