I went out with my wife to try to fish at Lake Vermillion State Park just outside of Canistota, SD this weekend.
We didn't catch anything but up by the Dam you could see the carp falling down.
It is getting really nice out some days, I even got my boat ready for the year in hopes to take it out.

605-240-03...With all the rain and snow I know it is hard to think about camping. However, if you want to go this year it is always best to plan ahead especially if you are going with a group as the spots fill up so fast. They have been taking reservations already for over a month! I have included a handy chart to plan how far out you can book with the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks. If you click on it you will go to their site where you can book. This will make you a Happy Camper!
