The Pheasant season starts a little early this year.
It is always the 3rd weekend of October that, what seams like, the entire state's wardrobe turns bright orange! Today is the last day to put in for first draw of deer season. If you need help with the deadlines I put some important dates for South Dakota Residents that want to deer hunt below, as well as a link to the South Dakota Game Fish & Parks SDGFP and the application PDF.
Now is a great time to start figuring out your hunt if you plan to hunt this year.
First draw was opened on June 1 and closes September 2 with results available September 16.

This review is a little different as it was Squealers' Grand Opening last Friday August 26, 2016.

I wrote the following blog last year. Today on my way to work I passed and or met four tractors and saw two more large farm trucks on the road. It is that time of year again, be patient, they are on their way to-and-from work as well. Be safe, leave early, and don't sweat the small stuff! Happy fall is almost here!
