This President's day the weather was a little calmer than it had been in a few days. I decided to take a short drive from my home in Canistota, SD out to Lake Vermillion State Park and take a few photos. Let me know what you think or share some of your President's day activities in the comments!

It was my pleasure to help this family transition through the next phase of their lives. They were expecting a new addition to the family, and nothing on the market, in their area looked appealing.

I, like many of you, am ready for the cold and ice to be gone! Today, March 22, 2018 it is just over 40 degrees outside.
So what am I super excited about, FISHING of course. I went out to Lake Vermillion, in McCook County, the lake is still mostly frozen, some watery spots. However, the dam is open and the river is flowing. I doubt there would be much to catch yet but it won't be long!
